Chris Paul Wins NBA All Star MVP as West Wins 143-138

Paul had 20 points, and 15 assists, the third time such a feat has been accomplished in NBA All-Star history. The other two players to do so were Earvin "Magic" Johnson and Isiah Thomas- not bad company for Chris. Paul was also an impressive 4-5 from three and 7-10 total from the field.

He's the first Clipper to ever win the All Star MVP award.

Overall, it was a pretty fun ASG, featuring 19 points from Blake Griffin including some explosive dunks, as well as good performances by Kevin Durant (30 points), Carmelo Anthony (26 points, 12 rebounds), and Dwayne Wade (21 points, 1 assists).

Hometown Houston Rockets star James Harden contributed 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists off the bench for the West team.

Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh, who started in place of the injured Rajon Rondo, had a pretty bad night. He was 3-9 for 6 points, including two airballed jumpshots. Chris Paul embarrassed him by dribbling the ball between Bosh's legs en route to the basket... and then Tony Parker did the same thing to Bosh a couple minutes later.

The Clippers don't play again until Thursday, so there's some time for Paul and Griffin, as well as Eric Bledsoe, who lost in the Slam Dunk Competition, to rest before their next game. Of course, with some of the rumors flying around, we might see a different Clippers team on TNT Thursday night.
