Rick Ross says his unwavering work ethic is what contributed to his recent health problems — and Maybach Music's Wale is ready to ease the load.

The D.C. rapper and Rozay protégé made his way to "RapFix Live" on Wednesday (November 2) to speak about his newly released album, Ambition, and the state of affairs with his MMG clique. When Ross suffered a pair of seizures October 14, members of the rap community were no doubt concerned — Wale probably more than most.

After learning about the first attack via text message from producer 9th Wonder, Wale scrambled to make sure the MMG CEO was OK. "All I remember is my hands were shaking, my heart was beating fast, and I was trying to reach everybody, and I couldn't reach anybody," Wale recalled.

Eventually, the "That Way" rapper got a hold of his label head and friend. "I actually talked to him after the first one, and he was laughing and everything was cool," he said.

On Tuesday, Rozay appeared on BET's "106 & Park" and explained that the seizures were due to a lack of sleep. "Being the fastest-growing label in the game, wanting to be the #1 label in the game, it comes with a lot of sacrifices, and in my case, it was sleep," he said. "I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving, me being a hustler."

While on "RapFix Live," Wale confirmed Ricky's resting habits. "Rozay went for, like, five days without sleeping," he said. "It's not healthy. It's definitely not healthy."

Maybach Music Group is comprised of a number of artists, including Meek Mill, Pill, Gunplay, Masspike Miles, Teedra Moses, Torch, Stalley and, of course, Wale, who said he is ready to work extra hard so the Bawse can put his feet up. "We carry the flag for Maybach as well. Maybach is a big label. We have a lot of talented artists," Wale said. "It's on us to step up now. Let's make more music, doper music. Let's work harder, so Rozay doesn't have to work as hard."
