Season two of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop" premieres on Monday night (November 14), and when the first episode of the reality series airs, it will be immediately evident why its 30-minute slot has been upgraded to a full hour.

In addition to the returning castmembers — Chrissy Lampkin, her fiancé Jim Jones, singer Olivia Longott, Emily Bustamente, and aspiring rapper Somaya Reece — there are two new faces, and plenty of new drama.

Jim Jones' manager, Yandy Smith, is now a fixture on the show along with Kimbella Vanderhee, the girlfriend of Jones' fellow Dipset rapper Juelz Santana. Episode one literally packs a one-two punch, with Chrissy Lampkin throwing down in a face-off against Kimbella, whose news that she dated rapper Fabolous while Emily B was pregnant with Fab's son, triggers an epic brawl.

"I really didn't get a chance to know her [Kimbella], so I don't know what her intent was, but I just felt like it was hurtful," Lampkin told MTV News of why she came to her girl Emily's defense. "I can only deal with what was in front of me and it just came across really hurtful."

Although Emily seemed to take the news with a grain of salt in the trailer for the episode, Lampkin didn't digest it so well. "I think everybody that watches the show feels like Emily doesn't defend herself the way we would like to see her do," Chrissy explained. "I don't regret my feelings, but I regret the way I allowed myself to be pulled out of character. [Vanderhee]'s another grown woman, and it's crazy to put your hands on somebody like that. It's just that I was so hurt and so caught in the moment — it was just reactional. I just reacted to the pain. I know it's gonna sound crazy, but it wasn't really personal."

The fight took place during a small gathering that Emily hosted in order to signal the end of her relationship with Fab, who she dated for about nine years. Chrissy's fiancé Jimmy told MTV News the brawl put him in an uncomfortable position.

"It's awkward," he admitted. "If it was a fight with anyone else, it wouldn't matter to me, but due to the fact that Juelz is my brother, it's a little bit different."

Season two of "Love & Hip Hop" premieres tonight on VH1 at 9 p.m. ET.
