Operations Supervisor
The Operations Supervisor posting is a fulltime position and is responsible for the supervision and daily operation of multi-season programs including assistance with their planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation. The position will supervise program supervisors and coordinators as well as other instructors and volunteers. The Supervisor will also provide direct client services instruction in various programs. The Operations Supervisor will be an integral part of writing operational plans for necessary licenses and permits and coordinating off-site facility arrangements for programs.
Education and Experience Required:
? Five years supervisory experience
? PSIA Level II in Alpine, Adaptive or Snowboard
? Five years of experience in teaching skiing or snowboarding
? Five years of experience in the field of adapted sports
? Current First Aid and CPR
? Competency in modern computers and programs
Other Preferred Qualifications:
? Member of appropriate professional organizations (specific to program)
? Certifications and advanced ability in various outdoor and mountain sports appropriate to NSCD
? College degree in special education, physical education, physical therapy, occupational therapy or related field
? Extensive experience working with individuals who have physical, cognitive, social, and emotional diagnoses
